Inverted Nipple Correction

Some 2 to 3% of women have inversion of one or both of their nipples. Inversion is when the nipple lies flat to the breast or when it is concave, depressed. Occasionally breast changes during pregnancy may help to correct this but often the answer is with surgery. The procedure is routinely performed on an outpatient basis. a tiny incision is made by the Surgeon between the base of your nipples and the edge of the areola and through this incision the tethering is released. Because the incision is sited in the areola is is virtually invisible once healed.
