Digital Imaging

The Pountney Clinic was the first Cosmetic Surgery Centre (some 15 years ago) to invest in the latest technology that enables you to see in advance the probable results of your surgery. Using the powerful VIDEO-SCULPT SYSTEM your Surgeon would take a video still of you at Consultation and transfer this to the screen. Having discussed your requirements he would show you – on your face, on screen – what improvements it would be possible to make to your nose. The system was demonstrated with great success on television and in the press and underwent many technical upgrades to ensure that the most realistic results could be shown.

Laptop Advances

Thanks to the extremely rapid advances in computer technology and equipment over the past few years our Surgeons have been able to successfully transfer this facility to laptops and incorporate digital cameras. This is used during Consultation if your Surgeon considers that what you are requesting can be shown accurately.

In 2002 the top surgical procedure in America was nose reshaping. American Society of Plastic Surgeons (2003)..
